Pigmentation
IPL & Laser Pigmentation Treatments
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) and targeted laser energy selectively break down excess melanin in the skin — addressing sun damage, age spots, freckles, melasma, and uneven skin tone without harming the surrounding tissue. The body then naturally clears the treated pigment over 1–3 weeks, revealing a clearer, more even complexion.
Sun Damage & Age Spots
Years of UV exposure leave behind flat brown spots on the face, chest, hands, and arms. IPL targets and breaks down this excess pigment effectively.
Freckles & Lentigines
Both natural freckles and solar lentigines (liver spots) respond well to IPL treatment, with significant lightening often visible after a single session.
Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation
Dark marks left behind after acne, injury, or inflammation can be addressed with targeted laser treatment. A consultation determines the best approach for your skin type.

Vascular
Vascular Laser Treatments
Vascular laser treatments use targeted wavelengths to selectively heat and collapse unwanted blood vessels — including spider veins, broken capillaries, facial redness, and cherry angiomas — without damaging the surrounding skin. The body then naturally absorbs the treated vessels over several weeks.
Spider Veins & Broken Capillaries
Small red, blue, or purple vessels visible on the face, nose, and cheeks can be effectively cleared with targeted vascular laser energy.
Diffuse Facial Redness & Rosacea
Generalized facial redness, flushing, and rosacea-related redness respond well to IPL and vascular laser treatments, with visible reduction after a series of sessions.
Cherry Angiomas
Small bright-red benign vascular lesions (cherry angiomas) can be quickly and effectively treated with targeted laser energy in a single session.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How many sessions will I need for pigmentation?
Most clients see significant improvement in 1–3 sessions for sun damage and age spots. Deeper or more diffuse pigmentation (such as melasma) may require a series of 3–6 treatments. A consultation will help determine the right protocol for your specific concern.
What does the skin look like after an IPL treatment?
Immediately after treatment, pigmented spots will often appear darker — this is normal and expected. Over 7–14 days, the darkened spots will flake off and fade, revealing clearer skin beneath. Redness from vascular treatments typically resolves within 24–48 hours.
Can vascular treatments completely remove spider veins?
Many spider veins and broken capillaries can be significantly reduced or eliminated with laser treatment. Results vary based on vessel size, depth, and the underlying cause. A series of treatments may be needed for larger or more diffuse vascular concerns.
Is there any downtime?
Pigmentation treatments have minimal social downtime. Treated spots will darken and may appear as “coffee grounds” on the skin for up to 2 weeks before clearing. Vascular treatments may cause mild redness or slight bruising for 24–72 hours. Most clients return to normal activities immediately.
Who is not a good candidate?
IPL and vascular treatments are not recommended for clients who are pregnant, actively tanned, on photosensitizing medications, or have certain skin conditions such as active rosacea flares or open lesions. Melasma requires special consideration and a customized approach. All of this is reviewed during your consultation.
